Chasing Umami

My photo
CV
I live and work in Baltimore, Maryland. When my job is not dictating my life, I seem to spend every moment planning the next getaway, meal, or cultural adventure I can get myself into.

I’m lucky to have a good job and great friends and family all around the world in many varied walks of life, so the opportunity for these experiences comes around with considerable frequency.

This blog will be my way to share my experience; cooking, dining, living my way through life as a member of the 'Aspirational Proletariat' to which so many of us belong.

This Pursuit of Umami is how I am 'Getting over the 9 to 5', a real life version of the high-gloss images and scintillating accounts of transcendent meals and adventures that inspire me in print and television.

I hope you enjoy!
